so today, june 18th, 2008, wesleywill turn 31. not too shabby. so here's to a wonderful daddy & an exceptionally wonderful husband: we love you, wesley alan. you mean the world to all 3 1/2 of us. hopefully we'll be celebrating these darned birthdays & getting older decades from now...when addy can take us out & we'll walk very slow & have great stories to tell about how crazy life was for awhile.

ReplyDeleteWe at first loved the way you held our daughter like holy water -- you treated her better than your own flesh -- then we saw you as a daddy to that wee little one Addy, and we realized our well of blessing was deeper yet.
Until Addy is that age, you probably will not know fully what a blessing it is to see her so loved and cherished, and also "fathered".
Thank you for being the husband, father and son you are.
So in honor of your birthday tonight, we lift our glasses high to you!
