our 4 person family is in love with pizza, not unlike a lot of families from the u.s.a. & as you may know, amelia is really super duper into table food now. we have gobs of baby food left over so we're still trying to cram it down her mouth...but i think we're going to just end up giving it away to a food pantry soon (we haven't been motivated enough to make our food baby food with amelia. we did with adeline. shhh, don't tell amelia & i won't either! ;o) anyway, amelia had her first bite of pizza today at costco. her eyes lit up & she gummed the miniscule piece to shreds & opened her mouth wide for more. adorable.
& even though adeline threw big fits yesterday & today about only wearing underwear at home (she used to be able to choose if she wanted a diaper, pull up, or undies) she refused to wear a pull up to costco today. she was all up in arms when i brought one out for her to change into before leaving. so i took a deep breath & said to myself 'first trip out wearing undies! we can do this!' when we got into the store, i took her to pee first thing & she went! yea, big celebration. then we ate lunch & while she was with wes picking up some developed pictures she apparently had to GO & pulled her pants & undies down to her ankles in the middle of the electronics section & said 'GO!' crossing her legs. i was across the store going through the list for poultry & cheese (they also have GREAT prices on cheese, nearly better than trader joe's!) & there's wes flagging me down, 'addy has to go pee!' & there's adeline walking behind him trying to pull her pants back down. hilarious! so i run to the bathrooms with adeline bobbing on my hip & she is laughing uncontrollably b/c we're running so fast & i just keep saying 'don't pee! don't pee! hold it in!' & i'm thinking...she's on my hip, has to pee, & is laughing. i have a change of clothes for her, but, uh not for me!' then we get to the women's room & they're all FULL! doi!!! thankfully a lady just hopped out of one, saw the panic on my face & was like 'oh my, this one's open!' i plop her on the potty & away she pees. beautiful.
