not only do addy & amelia have built-in best friends (each other) at home...they also have their 3 cousins.
it only took 13 pictures to get one where they all look mostly happy.
(this was thanksgiving day)
& here the older 4 are on the lodi outlet mall train

& finally, the nutcracker! yes, my mom tracked down a fairly well priced performance of the nutcracker & we were off!
adeline ran into this ballerina in the hallway & suddenly became speechless & awe-struck.
amelia made it most of the way through the entire performance (!!!) & adeline sat mostly still, happy to be alive & watching the dancers. *thankfully* this theater allowed popcorn & drinks--i'm not sure we would have made it without this caveat.

addy was much happier than this picture may lead you to believe
& the past 13 days have flown by...but! i think i am 90% done with christmas shopping & 100% stressed. argh!
i'm hoping there's more to come later...but right now 3 kids are pawing at me, one jumping on my lap, one trying to type numbers in between each word...
