we haven't been superbly sick this week, just a case of addy's odd fever flaring up, me with the return of the mega-migraines, & amelia gnashing her teeth at us every other hour. i mean, as i was telling my sister today, amelia is *intense*. she doesn't do anything half-hearted. which is cute & aggravating.

in other important news, i've decided i want a pair of these boots. i've been searching the racks for a pair of boots & i keep going back to these. i've even purchased another pair then returned them--meh--just not the right ones. so if you have a hankerin' to buy something for me, pick these! lol. b/c i *know* all of you want to furnish my supply of boots, right?

we went to the zoo today. neither girl had a tantrum...although we did do a heavy dose of bribery with adeline in the form of 'if you do not behave you will not get to ride the carousel before we leave' which totally worked. at the zoo aquarium a diver was in the fishes, making wes & i totally enthralled & the girls not so much. adeline actually started to walk out the door without us knowing. great!

sorry for the lame post. i just haven't been feeling well this week (friday was so amazingly bad: me, nearly passing out, dry heaving into the toilet, then back on the floor, legs up, girls climbing all over me...head pounding. it was miserable. it was nearly time to call 911 for awhile--i couldn't see! anyway, it was just plain terrible) & the girls have been *crazy* & a wee bit sick also (adeline missed two days of school from this mystery fever). so each spare moment i'm usually found with the shades drawn, the girls tuned into the tv (or if you're amelia, tuned into destroying everything your older sister has built of played with in the past 20 minutes) & my back pressed against a heating pad. it's a wonderful life.
Absolutly nothing wrong with using the carousel as a reward! Use it baby!
