*breathe*

i've tried to write 3 posts but have deleted them b/c all i'm doing is bitching about my kids. so i'm going to attempt to look at the bright side.

the girls are the best of friends. when they see each other after addy gets home from school or after they've been apart for an hour or more they will usually run into each other's arms, shouting the others name in giddiness. 

there is a wee coating of snow on the ground! which means sensitive drivers are off the road--making me happy with less traffic & i just love snow. it makes things look serene & quiet.

okay, i'm done looking on the bright side.my kids are driving me crazy, this house is always cluttered with toys that they relentlessly take other places, & i still have to find the brewing gifts wes wants (EVEN THOUGH! last year i told him to just go buy whatever he needs for brewing b/c it drives me crazy ordering stuff from online, stuff i have no clue what it is. & he just puts it on a piece of paper like this: mash paddle. hydrometer test cylinder, etc.).

so i'm feeling rather grinchish today. maybe i should just stop typing & post these pictures & then go do a sudoku or something. or read the polar express for the 10th time today (we kept out the christmas books & a few books for addy since she at least tried to put most of the books away. ugh).

but really, it's like i have no life whatsoever right now. i have to follow around amelia just to ensure she's not coloring all over the walls & moving an entire playroom into the pac n play for the nannied baby boy (that thing can hold so much crap!). i'm trying to gear myself up for this upcoming year, from just over age 2 to about 3 1/2--when seemingly normal toddlers turn into defiant, maniacal, demon possessed destroyer droids who insist they should be carried everywhere OR ELSE. ugh. i need to dig deep into behavior modification, positive parenting manipulation tactics, etc. before i also turn into a maniacal mother.

my dear friend, holli at her bachelorette party last weekend. she actually wore the condom hat all night, through a very busy bar & a restaurant! i know, she's pretty hard core.

amelia eating a doughnut at grandma & grandpa gerbick's...spoiled, spoiled. we even got her out of the footed pj's a few times!

my mom playing with the 4 crazies otherwise known as adeline & my niece twins. amelia & the nannied baby boy were somehow napping through this party.

& in an hour one of addy's school friends will be here to for a play date...i need to get this grumpiness out of me, eh?
