how?

so wes' car broke down...AGAIN...yesterday as he was driving home. technically, it's my car (from high school!). it still gets 35-38 mpg, i'll have you know. it may sound like it's going to fall apart but generally keeps ticking away. until yesterday. even wes isn't quite sure what happened, so that's a pretty bad sign.

we can't have this right now, a car search. ugh. when we were searching for a car before adeline was born i was a bit more specific & involved. it took about 2 months for me to throw up my hands in frustration & tell wes angrily that i don't care what car it is, we just need a car big enough to fit a few car seats. what did i get? a pontiac aztek. aka, the ugliest vehicle created (from what other's say, at least).

but i totally didn't care. whatever. it worked. & it still does; it's been a great car. so this time around when we're in the great car search again, i've already thrown my hands up & said something along the lines of: i don't care, just get a car that's reliable.

wes & i were looking online last night--on carmax--for a mazda 5. (there's only 2 available in the country through car auctions, according to wes' research). so on carmax we had to enter our email address to allow us to view the cars...we weren't even looking for a dodge calliber on this site.

this morning we received a call from a local dodge dealership. they wanted to know if we needed any more information about the dodge calliber they have at their location.

my first question was HOW DID YOU GET OUR NUMBER? i think every other question i asked was along those same lines. it was freaky. on someone else's website we searched for a totally different car & now someone else has our home phone number, name, & city we live in?!

we are so going off the grid. this is way too freaky.

& now we are putting up our christmas tree...i'm not sure how we got it yesterday with all the frustrations of picking wes up, getting the car towed, picking up a prescription for me that took 45 minutes standing in line, etc.  *sigh*

LATE ADD - the local Mazda dealership just called too....double freaky!
